How does Fashions on the Field work at Coonamble? And when do they run?

Here’s how it works:
A team of Fashions on the Field spotters will wander through the crowd selecting suitably dressed entrants for each category or you can self-register at the gate upon arrival to the racecourse.
The assembly point to meet at, prior to judging of each category, is at the staging area near the Secretary’s office. So listen out for the announcement on the PA, meet at the stage and you will be presented with a number, then it’s time to strut your stuff!
Check our socials for categories depending on the race meeting but Categories
Best Dressed Lady Under 35
Best Dressed Lady Over 35

How it works:
A panel of judges will base their votes on the following racewear criteria:
Style and originality
Hat or headpiece
Attention to detail
Understanding and interpretation of racewear and current trends
Grooming and deportment
Suitability of the outfit for the climate of the season and of the day

A panel of suitably qualified judges are selected to judge the Fashions on the Field.
Judges selected are independently chosen; are not a part of the Coonamble Jockey Club.
The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
